Release Form

This is the release form which I got permission for his picture.

Contents page draft

this is my cotents page, it is in keeping with my front page becasue got the same font(Verdana), I wanted the design to be simple but not to overloaded with rubbish so for my contents i have a brief description about each page, I have also included a message from the editor, which is a personal message to the target audience, Yr 11 and A level. It basicly shows whats in the issue and has the same colur scheme, red and white with a few pictures of Chaucer.

Final Magazine

This is my final design for my magazine, I have altered quite a bit of my idea than my first draft. My colur scheme is Red #FF0000 and a white background. I changed the layout and I have removed the stars becuase its a bit to cheesy in my opinion. However I changed it to having no border.

Photo of student EDIT

Here I have cut the image and I plan to add this on a white background of my magazine. It will go under my mast head. The reasons I have done this is because I dont want my background so it can blend in with my background.

Photo of student

I have taken the photo of this student, I chose this one becuase it is a smart picture and will fit just under the mast head, all i need to do is crop it using magic wand.

1st Draft

For this draft, I wanted my design to be simple, but effective. I want the colours of this magazine to fit with the Chaucer colour scheme, because it shows its is in relation to Chaucer. I chose my draft to look like this because of all other magazines I have seen, I put them together to make a unique design of my own and link that back to the style of our school. I want tyhe Font to be 'Verdana' becuase it gives the impression of an article style of writing instead of Times New Roman. For example:
‘In this story… We will cover’
It is more spaced out and I could see that on a front page of our magazine and our contents page.
I wanted different stories but decided to incorparate them both into a front page. Our article is about persuading school leavers to join our 6th form and tips on upcoming exams as well as talking about new tech out or Tv shows to catch the readers eye. Because from my personal experience and what I have asked people, no one really wants to read the magazine, so I want to add interesting stuff about teenage stuff new games to attract their attention.
